Zenvo Aurora coming to 2024 Festival of Speed

Zenvo is in an exciting transitional phase at the moment. The long-serving TS is nearing the end of its life with the lusty GT a road-focused ‘touring’ variant to cap off a wild lineage. The future lies with the Aurora, a wildly innovative new supercar the marque revealed last year.

The car will be available in two forms: Tur, with a road focus, and Agil, which has a more aggressive, track performance focus. Both the show cars will be on Zenvo’s stand for attendees to get up close and personal with over the course of the weekend.

The car will feature a hybridised 6.6-litre quad-turbo V12 engine developed in collaboration with MAHLE powertrains. It’s set to produce “at least” 1,267PS (932kW), with highs of over 1,875PS (1,379kW) reported on the car’s reveal last year should customers specify two extra electric motors. Ultra-powerful and sophisticated though this powertrain may sound, Zenvo insists the job of the Aurora is to be the ultimate driver’s car.

The engine itself is also being designed with modularity in mind, so smaller engines with fewer cylinders based on this design could be possible, in a family of Zenvo supercars in the future. The idea of one of these boutique hypercar marques finally sprouting more accessible supercar models below their ultra-limited hypercar offerings is an exciting prospect indeed.

At present Zenvo is on an intensive campaign of touring the cars around the world, drumming up interest and establishing a distributor network. Development is ongoing, with the car set to go into production in 2026.

The 2024 Festival of Speed takes place on 11^th-14^th July. Only Thursday general admission tickets remain, with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday tickets now sold out, although a limited number of hospitality packages for all days are still available. Tickets and packages can be purchased from £70.
