Which cars will be at Electric Avenue in 2022?

The go-to place to learn more about the world of electric motoring, Electric Avenue returns having made its debut in 2021. As was the case then, there will be cars from a huge range of manufacturers, with visitors able to have a good look at the latest electric machinery and ask brand representatives questions if they have any. Among a long list of electric machines, the Electra Meccanica Solo and the Fisker Ocean will be making their European debuts in 2022. Other cars will be announced soon, but suffice to say there will be everything from city cars to SUVs and supercars.

New for this year, however, is the British Volt Concept Paddock, where a number of electric concept cars will be on display, including the Lexus Electrified Sport Concept, the LFA’s spiritual successor and a wild Lexus halo model that’s due be launched in production form before 2025. Other cars will be announced soon.

Also new for 2022, experts from bp pulse and The AA will be on hand in the ‘Information Hub’, an area where anyone can ask questions about the future of motoring, everything from battery technology to how the UK’s charging infrastructure will change over the coming years.

On top of all of that, test drives are available for the first time, with a range of companies, including BMW, Ford, Kia, Michelin and more, offering experiences at the Goodwood Motor Circuit. Never driven an EV before? Now’s your chance.
