What to see in Electric Avenue at the 2023 Festival of Speed

Driving enthusiasts can drink in the details of the one-off all-electric Alpine A110 E-ternité prototype, as well as the new Charge ‘67 by Charge Cars, an all-carbon all-electric beauty in the image of the beloved 1967 Mustang Fastback. There’s also the fabulous Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo to show sportscar fans that electric-powered with a raised ride height can still be super cool.

Hot new electric SUVs in attendance include the refreshingly bulky new Kia EV9, the svelte Polestar 3, and the sporty new Maserati Grecale Folgore, as well as the new Ford Explorer and Renault Megane E-Tech. Coming from China, the BYD Dolphin, ORA Funky Cat, Nio ET5 and the HiPhi Y, the latter being an SUV complete with rear Gullwing doors. 

Even hot hatches are being electrified in 2023, with the Abarth 500e Turismo Convertible joining the new Smart #1 Brabus. Of course, the Alpine A290_β prototype would be on-stand, but it’ll of course be in action on the Hill.
