The final day of our first Goodwood Speed Weekend tried to bring together the most high-energy, fastest, most amazingly quick moments from Goodwood’s modern history, that we could fit into one seven hour stream.
We are pretty pleased with our efforts and hope that you’d agree, as our day of “Goodwood’s fastest” featured an amazing array of wonderful memories. We started with the fastest F1 race we’ve ever held at Goodwood – for the bigger-engined 3.0-litre Formula 1 cars that raced from 1966-1969 – and just kept getting faster from there.
Also included was the nail-biting RAC TT from Goodwood Revival in 2016, when Gordon Shedden and Giedo van der Garde battled to the very end for victory, Festival timed shootouts from 2016 (when the McLaren P1 LM went for the road car record) and 2019 (when the outright record fell) and Can-Am monsters from 72MM. In fact the amount of high-speed action was too much to list in this short piece. So relive the best moments in the our highlights video and remember that all members of the GRRC Community will be able to rewatch all three days of streaming in full right here on GRR for free.
