The Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard is an integral part of the global motorsport calendar. And while this year’s event has been postponed until 2021, we can certainly look back at previous years and reminisce.

And one of our favourites has to be the 2011 edition, in which we welcomed the usual suspects plus many more to the 1.16-mile ribbon of tarmac that winds up past his Grace’s home.

Blue skies shone over West Sussex as we witnessed everything from Lewis Hamilton's McLaren F1 donuts to Terry Grant on two wheels, plus countless of classic and contemporary cars.

A huge Indy 500 centenary celebration – the largest outside of America – unfolded on the front lawn, before a fleet of IndyCars from throughout the ages – 33 to match the number that traditionally start the 500-mile race – took to the hillclimb.
