Sunday at the 2024 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard has been all about Red Bull. The racing team celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2024, and has done so in some style here at Goodwood over these past four days.

The party kicked off with seven Red Bull cars taking to the Hill, including no less than six world championship winners. Starting with Christian Klein, who was there at the very beginning of Red Bull's F1 journey, driving the RB1, to former Red Bull F1 drivers Mark Webber and Daniel Ricciardo behind the wheel of the RB6 and RB7 respectively, two cars from the era of Sebastian Vettel's dominance. Ricciardo delighted the crowds with a couple of donuts in front of the House, before he was followed up the Hill by team principle Christian Horner in the RB8.

Then came the team’s current driver pairing; reigning three-time world champion Max Verstappen in his 2021 championship winning RB16B and Sergio Pérez in the 2022 RB18. They were joined by F1 Academy driver Hamda Al Qubaisi in her Red Bull-liveried car. And what would Red Bull Racing be without the genius of Adrian Newey? The man to whom much of the team's success can be attributted took to the Hill in a car which, among the F1 machinery, showcased his genius away from the world of F1 – the Aston Martin Valkyrie. He had an equally illustrious passenger, a certain David Coulthard.

The sounds of the V10, V8 and V6 engines ringing out across the Goodwood Estate during this incredsibly special moment was truly spectacular.

After parking outside the House, the drivers all hopped out of their cars to gather on the Balcony, where a vast crowd had gathered in a moment of appreciation for the team and its drivers, past and present.

Headlining the celebrations was Max Verstappen, appearing for the first time at the Festival of Speed. Asked about the experience, he said: “It was great. I mean, to be honest, every year I'll watch it from home, but it's great to be here to see so many people as well. I see so many different cars every single year. I love racing, I love cars, so it's a great event and it's great to be here today.”

Sergio Pérez added: “It’s really, really special and obviously with the 20th anniversary of the team, it's definitely a very special day for, for our organisation.”

It’s been quite the weekend for Red Bull. The party began on Thursday over in Cathedral Paddock, where Red Bull has set up all 20 of its Formula 1 cars on display and has been the place to be to soak in the atmosphere of F1’s most dominant team of recent years.

Then on Friday morning, we had the unveiling of the RB17, the track car capable of F1 lap times that will eventually be sold to 50 lucky customers and our first look at the work of Adrian Newey and Red Bull Advanced Technologies team. On Saturday we witnessed a bit of history with the Goodwood debut of F1 Academy, as Red Bull driver Hamda Al Qubaisi climbed into the cockpit of her current car.

This has been by far and away the biggest celebration of a single F1 team we’ve ever had at the Festival of Speed, and over the course of the four days Red Bull has delivered an endless supply of moments we’ll be thinking about for a while to come.
