Bentley has announced that its new ‘S’ models will all be in action at the 2022 Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, storming up the Hill throughout the weekend.

There are three ‘S’ models, including the Continental GT S, the Continental GTC S and the Flying Spur S. The Continental GT S and GTC S use the smaller, lighter twin-turbo V8 engine rather than the W12, sadly with no extra power (but 550PS (405kW) and 770Nm (568lb ft) is ample), but the cars benefit from a standard sports exhaust, standard Bentley Dynamic Ride, less chrome and more black trim, tinted front and rear lights, a small black boot lip, black exhausts, and optional 22-inch glass black alloy wheels. The two-tone interior is finished with ‘Dinamica’ suede trim, plus there are S badges everywhere.

The Flying Spur S, meanwhile, is available with either the V8, like the aforementioned GT S and GTC S, or the 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 hybrid unit. They also get sports exhausts, Bentley Dynamic Ride and similar design tweaks inside and out.

Also on the Hill from Crewe we’ll see the Continental GT Mulliner, a celebration of 40 years of turbocharged Bentleys, and the Blower Continuation Series Car Zero. We can’t wait to see all of these machines on the Hill in just a matter of days.
