Ineos Quartermaster to make its global debut at Festival of Speed

29th June 2023

Ineos will be at Goodwood for the world debut of two important vehicles at this year’s Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, as the fledgling SUV marque looks to expand its offering and look to the future. The first is the new Grenadier Quartermaster, a pick-up version of the rugged off-roader while the second is a bit more of a left-field move – a hydrogen-powered Grenadier prototype. For now little is known about either model, but we’re sure to find out more once the Festival opens on Thursday 13th July.

We’ve known the pick-up version of the Grenadier was coming for some time. As for the hydrogen? Well, even though Ineos was born to reimagine a car of the past, it has to look to the future, and this hydrogen fuel cell Grenadier could be a look at how the company lives on beyond the internal combustion ban.

Both the Quartermaster and the FCEV will be running in the First Glance batch on the Hill and in the paddock for Festival of Speed attendees to get up close and personal with. Ineos will also be running the standard Grenadier – which is now in production and on sale – on the off road course for visitors and potential customers to experience.

The 2023 Goodwood Festival of Speed takes place from 13th-16th July. Be sure to check back here at Goodwood Road & Racing to keep up to date with all of the latest news and announcements.
