Gallery: Roger Penske celebrated at FOS

11th July 2021

With the 2021 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard focusing its theme on “The Maestros – Motorsport’s Great All-Rounders”, it seemed only right to celebrate one of the greatest motorsport maestros there is, ‘The Captain’ – Mr Roger Penske.

Having enjoyed success in a plethora of categories including NASCAR, IndyCar, Formula 1 and sportscars as head honcho of the team that bears his famous name, along with enjoying a not too shabby racing career himself. Notching up victories in NASCAR, before making it to the Formula 1 grid in the early 1960s. We couldn’t think of a more deserving man to invite along.

Accompanying Roger this year is no fewer than 11 of his cars, spanning eras from the 1960s with a Pontiac Catalina to the modern era in the form a 2019 Ford Mustang GT. All of which will aim to celebrate the man, the team and their combined notable achievements. We hope you enjoy the gallery, and join us in thanking Roger for his significant contribution to the sport we all love.
