Gallery: Outrageous Off-Road Arena action at FOS

29th June 2022
Andrew Willis

At the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, things start to become a little more extreme as you follow the Hillclimb course up in elevation. Adrenaline-raising experiences start coming thick and fast from Molecomb corner onwards, whether the intimidating Flint Wall, or the light mottled challenge of the Forest Rally Stage. But it’s the Off-Road Arena in association with Britpart where the public can really get the sweaty palm treatment in full.

With passenger experiences available, strapped into some of the most raucous and outrageous off-road vehicles on the planet, this is the place to scare the living daylights out of yourself or the mother-in-law.

Blasting round grass berms, bouncing through bathtub-sized holes, or launching over table top jumps and blind crests. The arena offers a chalky, dusty, filling-displacing rollercoaster experience for anyone brave enough to take it on aboard the planet’s most brutal and capable Safari and Extreme-Off Road Championship machines.
