Gallery: Back to the Future Lab at FOS

11th July 2021
Andrew Willis

Experiencing an ever larger influence on the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard, FOS Future Lab is now a central feature, despite only launching at the event in 2017. As the modern world continues to evolve at what seems like breakneck speeds, Future Lab aims to give a glimpse into the tech, innovation and down-right bonkers gadgets we can all expect to be rubbing shoulders with in our not too distant lives.

From Mars rovers and autonomous haulage solutions, to electric jetpacks and motorcycles, there were plenty of thought-provoking exhibits and hands-on experiences to get involved with. Whether you were bringing along a young fan with aspirations of being an inventor themselves, or perhaps you’re an inquisitive adult-sized child yourself, Future Lab is here to stay at FOS, and likely to take ever-greater bounds forwards in the coming years. Enjoy the gallery.

Welcome to FOS Future Lab where we report on the latest visions of future technology. We'll be boldly covering flying cars, hoverboards, jetpacks and spaceships with plenty of down to earth topics in between.
