Awesome Nissan Juke rally car coming to FOS

The car features enlarged wheel arches that are home to enormous off-road tyres and wheels, hanging from long-travel suspension all round. They’ll go some way to protect the underside from the harshness of rallying, though when they can’t, there’re skid plates front and rear. Other additions to the standard Juke include extra bonnet- and roof-mounted lights, while at the rear there are spare wheels mounted where your rear glass would be on a road-going model. 

On the inside, there’s an enormous cage, while the rear seats have been removed. Their space is now taken up by spare wheels and four-point harnesses. All the usual rallying accoutrement is there: fire extinguisher, intercom, headphones and a hydraulic handbrake.

This special Juke is of course paying homage to the East African Safari Rally-winning 240Z of 1971, driven to victory by Edgar Herrmann and Hans Schüller. The retro livery on the Juke is also a nod to that winning car.
