2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed dates announced
The 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard will again take place in July featuring yet another incredible display of motoring and motorsport history. From 11th-14th July the Goodwood Estate will be taken over by the great and good of the world for the 31st event.
This year’s Festival closed its doors after what turned out to be three days of awesome action, featuring celebrations of Sebastian Vettel, Ferrari at Le Mans, MotoGP, McLaren, Lotus and of course our Central Feature marque: Porsche.
When we return to the famous Goodwood Hill next year we expect to see a stunning array of supercars making their debuts, F1 cars and teams, MotoGP legends, Le Mans winners and of course rally stars.
Tickets for the event will go on sale later in the year, with three separate purchasing windows opening in October and November. GRRC Members will be able to buy their tickets from 28th October while GRRC Fellows can buy their tickets two days later, from 30th October. General public will then be able to buy passes to the event from 6th November.
The Festival of Speed was founded in 1993 by the then Lord March to help revive the Estate’s great motorsport heritage. In 2023 we celebrated Goodwood 75, the 75th anniversary of the opening of the Goodwood Motor Circuit by the current Duke’s Father, Freddie March, in 1948.
Since the founding of the Festival it has grown from an event expected to bring in only 5,000 visitors to being one of the largest green field events in the world. In 2023 over 700 cars and drivers were in attendance both on the Hill and around the site.
The Hill was, as always, supplemented by the Forest Rally Stage, Cartier Style et Luxe Concourse, Goodwood Action Sports and much more. Future Lab yet again became more outlandish and incredible in its remit of showcasing the future of mobility and the most interesting and important technology of the future available today.
