Competition: Set fastest lap at Goodwood and win a new sim rig!

At Goodwood SpeedWeek presented by Mastercard we asked you to set the fastest times around Goodwood to win a rally stage experience. This time we’re giving you the chance to race head-to-head as part of the Goodwood Festival of Speed weekend to win an incredible prize bundle.

To enter all you need to do is set your fastest time on Gran Turismo Sport, between today (28^th April) and 31^st May, using the Gran Turismo F1500T-A and upload the full lap to social media with #mastercardhotlaps in the post. The car must be standard, using the standard tyres it comes on (racing mediums) and with no upgrades or improvements. We will take your entries on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook only and your page must be fully public so we can see the lap without needing to request access and must show the whole lap from start to finish, either onboard or off.

If you are one of the top 50 fastest times entered, you will move on to the second stage – as we hold a series of heats for entry to the final of the Mastercard etrophy. These will be held over the weekends of 6^th and 13^th June.

The top ten from the heats will then progress to the final, shown straight after the timed shootout at the Festival of Speed. This head-to-head, winner-takes-all race on Gran Turismo Sport will be broadcast both on site at the Festival and around the world on the live stream.

The winner of the Mastercard etrophy will receive an incredible prize bundle featuring a full new “Ultimate racing bundle” – PC, wheel, pedals, screen, headset, keyboard, mouse – a pair of tickets to the Festival of Speed in 2022, a passenger experience on the super-fast Goodwood rally stage, a night’s stay at the Goodwood Hotel, and coaching from a Williams esports professional to improve your lap times all courtesy of Mastecard.

The leaderboard for Mastercard Hotlaps will appear here from Friday 14^th May and will be updated weekly to include all entries properly uploaded and tagged. So, if you think you’ve got what it takes to win the Mastercard etrophy, it’s time to fire up Gran Turismo Sport and get lapping Goodwood!
