Italian design has become the very centre of car history, the home of some of the most beautiful vehicles the world has ever seen, as well as some of the most sonorous and soul stirring. But we don’t need to tell you that, if you regularly spend time on the pages of GRR we’re pretty sure you’re well versed in the true greats of Italian car design.
So rather than just present a gallery of Italian cars from a unique GRRC Members Breakfast Club, we thought we’d let you decide what was the very best of the lot. And before you say it, no, this is absolutely not us absolving responsibility for making the decision to you as we don’t want to have to make it.
Some of the Italian machines at this Breakfast Club were truly extraordinary, and between them they showcased how beauty can come in many shapes and forms. On Sunday it was shown off in the angular, gaze-catching form of a Pagani Zonda F and the sleek, roofless Ferrari SP2 Monza, but also in the smaller, just as shapely form of the tiny Fiat 850 Coupe and even an Alfa Romeo 75. So from the selection here, pick a favourite as we desperately try to avoid using the word “stallion”.
