Unmissable rarities headline the GRRC Showcase at Super Sunday

Super Sunday brought together an incredibly exclusive collection of cars for the GRRC Showcase, where Members’ have the chance to put their own cars at the centre of Goodwood’s Breakfast Clubs. As always, this little section of the Motor Circuit behind the Pit Lane was home to some true all-time legends of automotive under the gorgeous sunshine.

There were some genuine rarities in this this year’s Super Sunday GRRC Showcase, with the kind of machinery you’re unlikely to come across in normal walks of life. The likes of the GMA T.50 would of course have been familiar to those who have attended the Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport in recent years, but there was plenty else to get excited about, too.

A list including, but not limited to, an Aston Martin Valkyrie, a McLaren F1, and a pair of Porsche 918 Spyders. This was a true spectacle including some of the most sought-after and game-changing supercars ever created.

We were also graced with the incredibly special Zonda Attack, a one-off modification of a Zonda 760 featuring the sumptuous 7.3-litre AMG V12. It sat opposite another distinctly rare thing: the Praga Bohemia, a track-focused hypercar sporting some incredibly vivid styling, with outrageous aerodynamics and a twin-turbocharged 3.8-litre V6 engine.

It was also impossible to look past the McLaren P1 GT by Lanzante, a road-legal modification of the McLaren P1 GTR with less-than-subtle design inspiration taken from the legendary McLaren F1 GTR.

We always love seeing what the good Members of the GRRC have in their garages for times like these, and the quality of the cars on display says a lot about the care and attention they receive. It’s always a brilliant centre piece to proceedings at Goodwood’s Breakfast Clubs.
