This year marks the 75th anniversary of motorsport at Goodwood, and today at the Motor Circuit, we’ve put together a unique spectacle to celebrate this very special birthday. It’s the second Goodwood Breakfast Club of the year, following on from Supercar Sunday back in May, and this weekend we’re celebrating three-quarters of a century of motoring in a way only Goodwood can.
At this most special of Breakfast Clubs, we’re welcoming a broad collection of cars to Goodwood, spanning from 1948 – when the Motor Circuit first opened – right up until the present day. This includes a line-up on the Grid that is set to feature a car from every single year from 1948-2023.
Not only that, but this Sunday promises to bring together one of the largest collections of cars and motorcycles ever assembled at a Goodwood Breakfast Club, with in excess of 1,000 vehicles set to park up around the confines of the Motor Circuit paddocks over the course of the morning.
The stream of cars ranging from a spectacular sounding XJR-15 to an Austin A30 and a whole lot else besides, including some of the world’s most cutting edge hypercars and EVs, was seemingly endless as we watched them pour in through the tunnel. Just when we thought it had ended with the arrival of an Alfa Romeo 4C coupe, they kept on coming still.
The sun is shining, everyone is in excellent spirits for the second Goodwood Breakfast Club of 2023, 75th Anniversary Sunday is underway and we can’t wait to get in amongst all of the glorious metal on display here today.
