What's the best way to debut a brand new commission that you've just completed? We reckon bringing it to Supercar Sunday is probably not the worst. And that's exactly how our friends at Lanzante chose to celebrate the completion of an incredible new P1 restoration.
The white P1 now has a full 4.0-litre engine with some customisation from Cosworth, a reworked interior and a brand new paintjob as part of a painstaking series of upgrades by Lanzante. It's even got 24k gold heat shielding to pay homage to the legendary F1.
Speaking of which, here's two of them. Yes, the purple one is definitely a car you've seen before, given that it used to be owned by that man Rowan Atkinson. And it looks splended today, its sleek and small proportions being perfectly shown off by the elongated F1 GTR longtail that turned up alongside it.
It really is quite hard to bead this extraordinary series of cars from just one company, and we must salute Lanzante for such excelletn taste.
