At our three most recent Breakfast Clubs we’ve had a space just outside the Jackie Stewart Pavilion called the ‘GRRC Showcase’, where an eclectic mix of machines owned and loved by Members and Fellows of the GRRC are on display. For Classic Car Sunday it’s back once more, and as ever there’s a broad range of cars, with everything from muscle cars to V12 grand tourers. What a bunch.
From the UK there’s an Aston Martin DB2/4, a Bristol 405 DHC, a Jaguar XK120, which was at one point the fastest car in the world with a top speed of more than 120mph. From Italy we’ve got a Ferrari 512BB and a lovely 330GT, plus a Lamborghini Espada. Because everyone’s family car needs a V12. There’s a 1930 Studebaker representing the USA, too, as well as a 1967 Chevrolet Camaro, the owner of which is celebrating their birthday today - happy birthday to you! All of these and so many more.
If you’d like to have the opportunity for your car to be on display in the GRRC Showcase, or if you’d like to come along to the next GRRC Breakfast Club, all you need to do is join the GRRC!
