We’ve been touting Soft Top Sunday as the Breakfast Club for those who want to see the widest range of cars possible. We stand by that claim. Because while the supercars and the classics were scattered liberally around the site, within the realms of alfresco motoring, there are some proper oddities.
You’ll find a selection of them in the gallery above. From the spectacular Stanley Steamer – the only car that shouldn’t concern you when you see steam whisping from the bonnet – to a three-weeled Piaggio Ape Calessino tuk tuk. From a Mini Moke (a sort of Mini beach buggy thing), to a gorgeous ruby red Ford hot rod, to an actual VW Beach Buggy. Seeing all of these interspersed with Ferraris, Lamborghinis, McLarens and other such exotica was quite a surreal experience, but oh so awesome!
