Gallery: Italian exotica at Supercar Sunday 2019

03rd June 2019
Andrew Willis

Italy, of course, has a long and fabled history of producing some of the world’s greatest supercars, and we were in not short supply at the 2019 Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club. Even the early summer sun had an Italian feel to its warming rays as it glinted and glistened off the huge range of Italian marques.

Pagani, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and even a De Tomaso Pantera. The range and breadth of manufacturers was fantastic, and that was before we even started to dissect the models on show.

Ferrari were the most heavily represented Italian marque, with the likes of Pistas, 458s, 360 Modenas, Scuderia 16Ms, 599s, 328 GTBs and anything else you could shake a stick at soaking up the amorous attention of the Goodwood masses.

One rather rare find was a new Pagani Huayra Roadster, the carbon fibre detailing of which was simply jaw-dropping.

The Italian invasion was so heavy, we honestly didn’t have time to see everything here so, like us, sit back and enjoy what our Goodwood photographers managed to capture. And until next year, Arrivederci!
