Goodwood’s Breakfast Club enters the 2024 season ready to celebrate an incredible milestone – passing a century of free morning get-togethers for car fans!
Over the years we have celebrated pretty much every kind of road vehicle possible. From the very best supercars right the way through to buses – we’ve even had the odd tank. And since we have no intention of stopping, there’s no better way to celebrate than with a new season of four Breakfast Clubs to take us through 2024.
Just like 2023, the Breakfast Club season will sit between May and September, fitting into the (we hope) sunnier and less wet weather-prone seasons. Getting up for a 07:00 start when the clocks have gone forward is also a little less painful for all of us.
But a compressed schedule doesn’t mean that we will compromise on quality at all. During the 2024 season we’ll have a couple of returning favourites, the events without which a Breakfast Club season couldn’t exist, and a brand new theme for you to enjoy.
As usual, every event will be free to attend, for both those showcasing their cars and visitors here to take a look at what’s on show. You will still need a ticket, but that will just involve pre-registering on the Goodwood website beforehand. Just like you, we can’t wait to get started.
5th May
Join us as we celebrate our centennial Breakfast Club by welcoming the cars, bikes and everything else that has made them so special. Expect every kind of vehicle, from supermini to supercar, bikes, buses – you name it. No mode of transport is unwelcome as we celebrate our 100th Breakfast Club together.
2nd June
Supercar Sunday? No, SUPER Sunday! This is a morning for all things at the top end of mobility. Supercars, hypercars, superbikes, you’ll see them all. From Ferraris to Ducatis and Koenigseggs to KTMs.
23rd June
A morning for our GRRC Members to showcase the eclectic, broad and brilliant collection of cars and bikes that the club has in its possession. In the last two years, GRRC Sunday has brought together some amazing vehicles and we expect no different in 2024. This Breakfast Club is open to GRRC Members and Fellows only. Join the GRRC to be there.
4th August
Our traditional midsummer celebration of all things pre-tax returns for another year featuring cars and bikes that were registered before 1st January 1984. As time moves on, this event only gets more and more interesting. We can now welcome cars ranging from the classic line of the Jaguar E-type to working-class heroes like the Renault 5 Turbo.
As well as being a haven for motoring fans, a way to introduce your youngsters to the Goodwood experience at no cost, and a chance to eat a big bacon butty, we’ll once more use the 2024 Breakfast Club season to raise money for charity. For 2024 our chosen charity partner is Dementia Support. Through all our Breakfast Club events there will be plenty of ways to help us raise some cash for this brilliant cause. From booking a ride in one of our GRRC Sunday Drives – getting a passenger ride in some pretty special machines provided by our members – to simply putting some money in a bucket.
And if that’s not enough, we’ll have plenty of tasters of Goodwood’s year-round experiences on offer. Including our Land Rover off-road experience and the new Race Simulators.
If you have a car that you would like to see exhibited to the Breakfast Club public, applications have opened for all four events right now as this article goes live. Remember that acceptances will not be received until around a month before the event, and that should there be a number of the same type of car, places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
