Tree qualified for his first British Open two weeks ago after he finished joint second along with Ryder Cup hero Ian Poulter at Woburn with a score of six under par. His qualification was very well deserved after a fantastic winter in South Africa.

Toby has been part of Golf At Goodwood for over four years, joining us as an amateur. He is a huge inspiration for our Junior Members who are starting their golfing careers.

Golf At Goodwood are proud to support and develop the talent of junior golfers, and have a great pathway to get children involved with the game to then becoming Members and playing in competitions.

PGA Professional and Academy Manager Chris McDonnell said: “It is a fantastic achievement by Toby to qualify for The Open and we all wish him the best of luck over the next few days. As a club, Goodwood is fortunate to have many competitive players and it's wonderful that our juniors have people like Toby to look up to. He has the talent to do well this weekend and we all look forward to following his progress.”

To follow Toby's progress this weekend, keep updated on our Twitter page @goodwood_golf and The Open website.

From all at Golf At Goodwood we wish Toby every success this weekend at The Open.
