The Clutch Pro Tour were in town for their tier 2 event which took place on The Park course on Tuesday 21 and Wednesday 22 May.

The Park course was in a sublime condition and received some incredible feedback over the two days. Thank you to our greenkeepers for all their hard work.

A competitive field of 90 took to the course, competing for a total prize money of £20,000. Golf At Goodwood had two participants, Jamie Burchell and Joe Sykes, who made Team Goodwood extremely proud.

Burchell had a superb first day and was the overnight clubhouse leader shooting a score of -6. Sykes also had a great start, finishing the day -3.

Day two saw really tough conditions out on the course with wind and rain making an appearance. Burchell had a tricky start but battled to a respectable score, finishing the event on a total of -3.

Sykes had a great start to the day and finished with a brilliant round of -4, which was enough to secure a play-off against two others. Overall, Joe finished with a final score of -7.

Joe took to the course for the play-off, and ended up playing five holes which included the 18th hole three times and the 1st twice! Eventually, Joe made a great birdie to win the play-off.

A huge congratulations must go to Joe, winning the event as an amateur and also to Jamie, who had done so well in a pro event. You made Team Goodwood so proud.

Congratulations to everyone involved and congratulations Joe and Jamie!
