At the Shuttleworth collection you’ll find the oldest flying aircraft in the world. Thanks to Richard Shuttleworth who, during the 1930s, rescued old aircraft and vehicles and brought them to Old Warden Park to restore. The Aero Club Como offers float plane flying on Lake Como Italy in its fleet of Cessna 172s and its Piper Cub. The SEP (sea) rating can be taken over 5 days but can only be added to EASA licences. Alternatively just come along and have an experience flight or two! Price on application. Timing is TBC.
Spitfires.com are opening their hangar doors to us for an exclusive tour. With scheduled maintenance taking place during November there should be plenty to see, and lots to learn about these magnificent aircraft.
