Where will the 2024 WRC season begin?
As usual the year will kick off with Rally Monte Carlo on 25th January 2024 before the traditional second round moves the WRC onto snow in the forests of Sweden in February. Safari Rally Kenya in March will coincide with the rainy season in the region, potentially bringing a whole new level of challenge to the event.
Croatia returns in April, leading the European swing of the season which includes Portugal (May), Sardinia and Poland (June), Latvia (July), Finland (August) and Greece (September).
The Americas are represented by Rally Chile in September, its second appearance in a row, and the penultimate round of the season will see the return of the Central European Rally. Across three countries, Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic, the Central European Rally becomes the first multi-country WRC round ever in 2023.
As has been familiar since the end of the 2022 season the 2024 World Rally Championship will then end in November in Japan.
